Responsibilities:
- Execute purchasing operations for all company requirements in accordance with approved policies and procedures.
- Source and evaluate new suppliers, negotiate best prices and terms.
- Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with existing suppliers to ensure continuity of supply.
- Follow up on purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods as per required specifications.
- Review price quotations and prepare comparative analyses to support the best purchasing decisions.
- Coordinate with different departments to identify actual needs and prevent stock shortages.
- Monitor supplier contracts and ensure compliance with agreed terms.
- Prepare periodic procurement and expenditure reports and submit them to management.
- Contribute to cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage supplier relationships.
- High attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement management systems.
- Strong communication skills and a structured, methodical approach to work.
